DHAKA, Aug 24, 2025 (BSS) - Dhaka Metropolitan Police's (DMP) Traffic Division in one single day has filed 1715 cases against transports for violating traffic rules, said a press release.  

Deputy Commissioner (Media and Public Relations Division) of DMP Talebur Rahman said the cases were filed on August 23 in addition to imposing fine.

During the drive, 298 vehicles were seized and 123 vehicles were towed to police station. 

The DMP information further said the drive will continue to bring discipline in the capital.
