DHAKA, Aug 24, 2025 (BSS) - The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) today arrested president of 22 no ward of Awami Swechchhasebak League Md. Mizanur Rahman from the capital's Hatirjheel area. 

A CID team from East Division, arrested Mizanur around 2pm today, said a police press release.             
Mizanur, son of Md. Idris Ali is a resident of Wabda Road, Kabirer Goli, Hatirjheel, Rampura. 

He is an accused in a murder case connected to the July Uprising.
