10-bed HDU inaugurated at Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital

DHAKA, Aug 24, 2025 (BSS) – A 10-bed High Dependency Unit (HDU) was inaugurated today at Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital.

Director General of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Professor Dr Md Abu Zafar inaugurated the HDU at a programme this morning.

The Department of Anesthesiology of the hospital organised the function. A discussion was also held after the opening of the unit.

Head of the Department of Anesthesiology of the hospital Professor Dr Rehan Uddin moderated the function, while Director of the hospital Professor Dr Mohammad Sehab Uddin chaired it.
