DHAKA, Sept 5, 2025 (BSS) - Two men were killed and one other was injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a CNG-run auto-rickshaw on Jatrabari flyover in the capital tonight.

The deceased were identified as Shahidul Islam (50), a CNG driver by profession and Mohammad Imran Hossain (45), a shop employee while the injured was identified as Rafiqul Islam (50).

The accident occurred around 8 pm today, police and hospital sources said. 

Later, when the injured were rescued and taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, the doctor on duty declared the two individuals dead at around 9:30 pm today.
