DHAKA, Sept 17, 2025 (BSS) - BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman extended assistance for surgery of elderly woman Golapi Begum.
Golapi Begum from Shahabag had been suffering from throat problem. The operation on the throat of Golapi Begum was successfully completed today in a hospital of the city.
A news report about Golapi Begum on August 3 drew the attention of Tarique Rahman. Following the report, the BNP Acting Chairman announced that he would assist the sick woman and take responsibility for her medical treatment.
BNP media cell confirmed the information.
Member Secretary of Amra BNP Poribar (We are BNP Family) Moksedul Momin Mithun, a platform of BNP, visited Golapi Begum to check her condition and spoke with the doctors involved and expressed gratitude for the successful surgery.
Amra BNP Poribar made all necessary arrangements for Golapi Begum's throat treatment.
