KMP takes security measures for 47th BCS exams tomorrow

KHULNA, Sept 18, 2025 (BSS) - The Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP) has taken various security measures ahead of the 47th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) preliminary examinations in the city tomorrow (Friday).

KMP Commissioner Md Zulfiqar Ali issued an order last night under Sections 29 and 30 of the KMP Ordinance, 1985, in this regard.

The two-hour BCS preliminary examinations will begin at 10:00am and end at 12:00pm tomorrow.

According to the order, groups of five or more people will not be allowed within 200 yards of the 25 examination centers for four hours, from 8:00am to 12:00pm.

Carrying arms, sharp weapons, sticks, and explosive materials will be prohibited in and around the exam center areas. Noise pollution from loudspeakers, honking, or any electronic devices will also be prohibited. In addition, all photocopying machines adjacent to the exam centers will remain closed.

"Action will be taken against anyone who violates the order," the KMP Commissioner added.
