DHAKA, Sept 19, 2025 (BSS) - In the ongoing nationwide special crackdown, police have arrested 1849 more crime suspects in the last 24 hours.

According to a press release from the Media and Public Relations Division of Police Headquarters, 1,225 of those were arrested in connection with previous cases and outstanding warrants, while 624 were detained for various criminal offenses.

During the operations one shooter gun, a locally manufactured firearm, ammunition and locally made sharp weapons were recovered, said the release.

It further added that the special operations will continue to ensure law and order across the country.
