BAF's 2-day Inter-Base Qirat and Azan competition ends today

DHAKA, Feb 17, 2026 (BSS) - Two-day Inter-Base Qirat and Azan competition-
2026 of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) ended at Shaheen Mosque of BAF Base Bashar 
here today.

A total seven teams of Bangladesh Air Force took part in the competition, 
said a release of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Directorate this 
evening.

Earlier, Air Officer Commanding of Air Headquarters (Unit) Air Commodore Md 
Asadul Karim inaugurated the competition on February 16, 2026.

BAF Base Bir Uttam A K Khandker emerged as champion in the competition while 
BAF Base Zahurul Haque became runner-up, it said.

Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Administration) Air Vice-Marshal Rushad Din 
Asad distributed prizes amongst the winners and Runner-up as the chief guest. 

Air Officer Commanding of Air Headquarters (Unit), senior BAF officers, 
airmen and other members were also present on the occasion.
