Forhad Hossain pays tributes to Language martyrs in Panchagarh Shaheed Minar

PANCHAGARH, Feb 21, 2026 (BSS) - State Minister for Water Resources Forhad Hossain Azad today paid tributes to 1952 Language Movement martyrs by placing wreaths at the altar of the Central Shaheed Minar here in the district.

After paying tributes, he told journalists that the entire nation is united now and this unity must be continued in the future too.

The newly formed BNP government led by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will put priority on national interests at first in any issue, he said.

He sought cooperation from all irrespective of opinions, castes, creeds, faiths and political affiliation to build a beautiful Bangladesh ensuring equal right for all.

Earlier, various political parties, social, cultural organizations and government and non-government institutions also laid wreaths at the altar of the Shaheed Minar.
