
DHAKA, Mar 1, 2026 (BSS) - Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan formally inaugurated the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) at BAF Base Bashar at Tejgaon in Dhaka Cantonment here today.
Speaking on the occasion, the air chief expressed strong confidence and optimism about the beginning of the journey of this institution as the highest body for the coordination of training of the Air Force and formulation of doctrine and tactics.
In his chief guest speech, he emphasized on the planned and up-to-date training institutions and military education system to keep the BAF up-to-date and strategically effective, said a release of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Directorate this evening.
He said the TRADOC will be directly under the Chief of Air Staff, ensuring strategic alignment and timely policy guidance, as well as maintaining effective coordination with the relevant directorates of the Air Headquarters in planning, operations, training and evaluation.
With the motto of "Transformation through Wisdom", the TRADOC would play an important role in supervising and controlling all BAF training, formulating and updating doctrine and tactics, achieving operational excellence and above all, developing it as a modern force, the ISPR added.
Principal Staff Officers of the Air Headquarters, Air Commanders of Air Force Base Bashar and Base AK Khandaker, TRADOC Commandant and Directors of the Air Headquarters and other concerned were present there.
