DHAKA, Mar 11, 2026 (BSS) - The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-1 today set March 30 for passing indictment order in a case filed against former ministers Rashed Khan Menon and Advocate Qamrul Islam over alleged crimes against humanity during the July Mass Uprising.

The ICT-1, headed by Justice Golam Mortuza Majumder, passed the order as both prosecution and defence concluded their hearing on the matter today.

Chief Prosecutor Md Aminul Islam took part in the hearing on the matter, while senior advocate Mansurul Haque Chowdhury argued for the defence.

The prosecution filed the formal charge in the case on February 3, 2026, which was later taken into cognisance by the tribunal.
