8th NTRCA MCQ test for head, assistant head posts on April 18

DHAKA, April 9, 2026 (BSS) - The 8th MCQ (preliminary) examination for recruitment to the posts of heads and assistant heads of non-government 
educational institutions is scheduled to be held on April 18, as announced by the Non-Government Teachers' Registration and Certification Authority 
(NTRCA).

The examinations will be held in four groups at different centres in Dhaka under the authority's supervision, according to an NTRCA press release issued 
today.  

As per the schedule, the 'Ka' group exam will be held from 9:00am to 10:00am, covering posts including principals of degree (pass) colleges, fine arts 
degree colleges, business management institutes, vice principals of Kamil madrasas, head teachers of secondary schools and superintendents of Dakhil 
madrasas.

The 'Kha' group exam will take place from 11:30am to 12:30pm for posts such as principals of higher secondary colleges, Fazil madrasas and fine arts pre-
degree colleges, vice principals of Alim madrasas and assistant superintendents of vocational institutions.

The 'Ga' group exam is scheduled from 2:00pm to 3:00pm, including posts of principals of Alim and Kamil madrasas and higher secondary institutions, 
assistant head teachers of secondary schools and superintendents of vocational institutions.

The 'Gha' group exam will be held from 4:30pm to 5:30pm for posts including vice principals of degree (pass) colleges, fine arts and Fazil madrasas, 
principals of agricultural institutes, head teachers of junior secondary schools and assistant superintendents of Dakhil madrasas.

NTRCA Assistant Director (Examination, Evaluation and Certification) Firoz Ahmed told BSS that the examinations for all four groups will be held at 
different centres in the capital.
