DHAKA, April 21, 2026 (BSS) - The government has appointed new secretaries to two ministries and one division.

In this regard, the Public Administration Ministry issued separate notifications today.

Additional secretary of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education Sakhawat Hossain has been given the charge of the secretary of the ministry.

The secretary of Primary and Mass Education Ministry Abu Taher Md Masud Rana was transferred to the Ministry of Food while the secretary of the Food Ministry Firoz Sarkar was made the secretary of Statistics and Informatics Division.
