DHAKA, May 25, 2026 (BSS)- Bangladesh Railway (BR) has taken an initiative for special coach for female passengers during Eid journey.

Director General of Bangladesh Railway Afzal Hossain inaugurated the special service in the Joyantika Express from Kamalapur railway station, railway sources said.

The decision has been taken to make the Eid journey of women passengers more safe, comfortable, and women-friendly.

Additional Director General (Operations) of Bangladesh Railway Nazmul Hasan and other senior officials were present.

The female passengers expressed satisfaction over the decision of Bangladesh Railway.
