DHAKA, May 24, 2026 (BSS) - Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Jatrabari unit conducted a special drive and arrested 20 suspected criminals under its jurisdiction.

Police produced them before the court, said DMP Deputy Police Commissioner (Media and Public Relations Division) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) NM Nasiruddin in a statement said today. 

The arrested are Nazmul Hasan (19), Rakib Hossain alias Aqib (20), Saiful Islam (29), Md Sheikh Farid (20), Md Enamul Haque (22), Md Abul Kalam (55), Abdul Rubel alias Arif (32), Md Nayan (24), Yasin Arafat (22), Rahmat Ullah (19), Md Zahidul Islam (20), Moni Jharoi (30), Md A Hannan (22), Maruf Khan (23), Md Abdullah (21), Md Saidul (28), Md Rabbi (20), Md Rizaul Sheikh (55), Md Rashed Khan Setu (32) and Reshmi Begum (25).

According the statement, these individuals were arrested during special raids in various crime-prone areas yesterday (Tuesday). 

The arrested include regular case accused, warrant accused and criminals involved in various crimes.
