New Zealand win toss, bowl in 3rd Sri Lanka T20

NELSON, Jan 2, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - New Zealand won the toss and opted to bowl Thursday against Sri Lanka in the third and final Twenty 20 as they bid to sweep the series in Nelson.

The hosts have an unchanged line-up after taking the first game by eight runs and the second by 45 despite losing the toss and being sent into bat first on both occasions.

Sri Lanka, hoping for a change of luck after their middle order in the first two matches failed, have made two changes with Bhanuka Rajapaksa and Chamindu Wickramansinghe in for Kamindu Mendis and Maheesha Pathirana.
