DHAKA, Oct 9, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh U-17 women's football team defeated their United Arab Emirates (UAE) counterparts 2-0 in the second and final friendly match held today at the UAE Football Association Ground 1.

Earlier, the Bangladesh team had also beaten Syria U-17 women's team 2-0 in the first friendly match on Tuesday. 

Both matches were part of the team's preparation for the AFC U-17 Women's Asian Cup qualifiers scheduled to be held in Jordan.

Bangladesh will play their first group match against host Jordan on October 13, followed by a match against Chinese Taipei on October 17.
