DHAKA, Jan 3, 2025 (BSS)—Chittagong Kings’ Pakistan recruit Usman Khan struck his second century in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) to emulate the likes of Tamim Iqbal and other three Caribbean batters.

His feat came against Durbar Rajshahi when he blasted his career-best 62 ball-123 to power Chittagong to a massive 105-run victory, which is joint second largest victory in BPL history.

West Indies great Chris Gayle however hit highest five centuries in BPL history. Tamim Iqbal and Gayle’s compatriot Andre Fletcher, Evin Lewis and Johnson Charles were behind him with two centuries. Now Usman, a 29-year old Pakistan player, who played 18 T20 Internationals for his country so far joined them in two-century club.

No other batters hit more than one century in BPL so far.

Usman Khan's previous century came on January 9 last year as he hammered a whirlwind 103 off 58 for Chattogram Challengers against Khulna at a strike rate of 177.58 with 5 sixes and 10 fours at the same venue.
