Tennis team to participate in ITF Asia Under-14 Championship

DHAKA, Jan 10, 2025 (BSS)- The ITF Asia Under-14 Development Championship will be held from January 11 to 24 in the Sri Lankan capital of Colombo, said a press release.

Under-14 boys/girls players and captains from hosts Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Macau, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore and Timor Leste will participate in the competition which will be held under the management of the Sri Lanka Tennis Association and with the approval of the International Tennis Federation.

The competition will be held in two phases with Bangladesh tennis team to start their first phase competition from January 13-17 and the second phase to be held from January 19-23.

The Bangladesh team will return home on January 24.

Bangladesh tennis team: Kabya Gain (BKSP) and Akash Hossain (national tennis complex) (boys’), Humaira Haider Zara (national tennis complex) and Jannat Howladar (Madaripur tennis club)
