Handball referees course begins

DHAKA, Jan 10, 2025 (BSS)- Handball referees course has begun today (Friday) at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in the capital, said a press release.

Organised by Bangladesh Handball Referees Association (BHRA), a total of forty trainees from different district, division, Bangladesh Navy, Border Guard Bangladesh, Bangladesh Police and associations took part in the first phase of the course, which is being held in cooperation of Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF).

The course will be held in two phases (forty trainees in each phase) with the second phase to start from January 17.

Earlier, BHF general secretary Asaduzzaman Kohinoor formally inaugurated the course as the chief guest. Bangladesh Handball Referees Association president Mohammad Nurul Islam presided over the inaugural ceremony.
