DHAKA, March 8, 2025 (BSS)-The first round of Bashundhara Group Bangladesh Championship League (BCL) Football, the second-tier league of domestic football, begins tomorrow (Sunday) at three separate venues in the capital and its adjoining areas with three matches scheduled to be held on the opening day.

On the day, BFF Elite Football Academy takes on PWD Sports Club at Bashundhara Kings Arena practice ground in Dhaka, Wari Club meets Uttar Baridhara Club at Shaheed Barkat Stadium in Gazipur and old Dhaka outfit Farashganj Sporting Club faces Little Friends Club at Fortis ground (Jalshiri) in the city.

All the matches kick off at 02:45 pm. 

In the remaining first-round matches on the following day (March 10), Arambagh Krira Sangha will play against Dhaka Rangers Football Club at Fortis ground (Jalshiri) while BRTC Sports Club will meet City Club at Shaheed Barkat Stadium in Gazipur.
