Two matches of BPL football to be held tomorrow

DHAKA, April 24, 2025 (BSS)- After a twelve-day recess, the 12th round of Bashundhara Group Bangladesh Premier League football will begin tomorrow (Friday) with two matches are billed for the day at two separate venues.

On the day, Fortis Football Club will take on Fakirerpool Young Men's Club at Bashundhara Kings Arena in the capital, while Bangladesh Police Football Club meet Dhaka Wanderers Club at Rafiq Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium in Mymensingh.

Both the matches kick off at 3:30 pm.

Earlier, in the first round matches, Fortis Football Club blanked Fakirerpool by 3-0 goals while Police drubbed Dhaka Wanderers by 4-0, both held at Shaheed Barkat Stadium in Gazipur.

After the 11th round matches, Fortis Football Club stand fifth position in the league table with 17 matches while Fakirerpool places at eighth position with nine points.

Bangladesh Police Football Club stands sixth position in the league tale with 16th points from 16 points from 11 matches while Dhaka Wanderers Club place standing ninth position in the league table have four points. 

In the remaining 12th round matches on the following day (Saturday), league leader Mohammedan Sporting Club will play against their arch-rival Abahani Limited at Shaheed Dhirendranath Datta Stadium in Mymensingh, Bashundhara Kings meet Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society at Birshreshtha Flight Matiur Rahman Stadium in Mymensingh and Brothers Union Limited face Chittagong Abahani Limited at Rafiq Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium in Mymensingh.
