DHAKA, April 26, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh national women's kabaddi team returned home today after completing a five-match test series against hosts Nepal.

Bangladesh however lost the test series 3-2 to the host.

Bangladesh took this series as a preparation for the upcoming Women's Kabaddi World Cup to be held in India. The team management thinks through this series it was possible to find out the team's mistakes and weaknesses.

The players able to increase their confidence level from this series which will be useful in the World Cup. The Women's Kabaddi World Cup will be held in Rajgir, Bihar, India, from June 1-8.

Earlier, Bangladesh suffered 41-18 points defeat to Nepal in the first match and went down 29-22 points defeat in the second match.

Bangladesh however bounced back to register a 26-23 points victory over the hosts in their third match and lost the series conceding 21-17 points defeat in the fourth match.

The girls' restored some lost pride as they beat host Nepal by 28-23 points in the last match.
