Kings held by Rahmatganj in BPL

DHAKA, April 26, 2025 (BSS) - Defending champions Bashundhara Kings lost valuable points as they were forced to play a goalless draw by Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society in the Bashundhara Group Bangladesh Premier League football held at Shaheed Birshrestha Flight Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj today.

In the proceeding, both the teams got several scoring chances but failed to break the deadlock.

With the day's outcome, Bashundhara Group, standing in the third position in the league table, bagged 21 points from 12 matches while the traditional old Dhaka outfit Rahmatganj following Bashundhara closely with 19 points playing the same number of matches.

Earlier, in the first leg, Bashundhara Kings beat Rahmatganj by 4-1 goals held at Bashundhara Kings arena in the capital.
