DHAKA, May 20, 2025 (BSS)—The Bangladesh A team will face off New Zealand A in the second and final four-day match at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium tomorrow (Wednesday).

The second string Bangladesh side, mostly formed with the currently national players, are aiming to avoid a series sweep following their 70-run defeat to the visitors in the first game.

Skipper Nurul Hasan Sohan hit a century in the first match but that was not enough to save the side from a defeat as Bangladesh tasted a sensational collapse on the final day of the game, losing last four wickets for five runs.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) meanwhile in a statement said, the spectators will be allowed free entry to a designated stand of the SBNCS, Mirpur on all four days (May 21, 22, 23 & 24) of the second ‘unofficial Test’ between the two sides.

Fans are advised to enter through Gate 5 of the stadium and access the Shaheed Abu Sayed Stand to watch each day’s proceedings.

The BCB also requests the spectators to observe and maintain the following guidelines inside the stadium.

The two teams earlier played a three-match unofficial ODI series with Bangladesh winning the series by 2-1.
