DHAKA, June 2, 2025, (BSS)-England-based midfielder Hamza Dewan Choudhury arrived in the capital today (Monday) morning to join the national team ahead of their Asian Cup Qualifier against Singapore scheduled to be held at the National Stadium on June 10.

The Bangladesh Football Federation officials received the star midfielders at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. This English Premier League footballer is now waiting to make his debut in the red-and-green jersey on home soil. His presence the in squad must be boosted the team ahead of the Singapore match.

The local home fans will get the opportunity to witness the star footballer's play for Bangladesh at home soil for the first time.

Earlier, Hamza made his debut for Bangladesh against India during the Asian Cup qualifiers in Shillong in March. The much-anticipated grudge match ended in a goalless draw, with the star midfielder Hamza earning praise for his impressive performance.
