DUCSU screens live Sheikh Hasina trial verdict at TSC

DHAKA, Nov 17, 2025 (BSS) - The verdict in the crimes against humanity case committed during July-August 2024 mass uprising, in which ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina and two others are accused, will be delivered today.

The announcement of the verdict is being broadcast live from 11:00 am on a large screen at the Payra Chattar adjacent to Dhaka University's TSC, an initiative taken by the Dhaka University Central Students' Union (DUCSU).

In addition, the Ministry of Cultural Affairs has arranged similar large-screen broadcasts at several locations across Dhaka to enable wider public viewing.

The historic verdict is also being broadcast live worldwide with the cooperation of Bangladesh Television (BTV).
