BCB approves disbursement of revenue for BPL Franchises

DHAKA, June 4, 2025 (BSS)-The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has approved the disbursement of prize money and ticket sales revenue to the franchises of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).

The decision was taken in an emergency meeting held on May 31 at the BCB headquarter in Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.

A total of Tk. 3.55 crore will be given to the seven teams that participated in the tournament. The four teams that made it to the playoffs are entitled to receive Tk. 55 lakh each, and the other three teams Tk. 45 lakh each. However, after deducting the outstanding fees, franchise fees and other expenses, the teams will get the rest of the amount. 

Fortune Barishal emerged as champion in the last BPL after beating Chittagong Kings.
