U-18 women’s Kabaddi talent hunt program inaugurated

DHAKA, July 2, 2025 (BSS)-Inter-district U-18 women’s kabaddi talent hunt program was inaugurated at Riya Gope Women’s Sports Complex in the capital today (Wednesday), said a press release.

Additional secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Md Salim Fakir formally inaugurated the five-day talent hunt program as the chief guest.  

Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation (BKF) general secretary SM Newaz Shohag was present in the opening ceremony as the special guest.

Bangladesh Women’s Sports Association (BWSA) acting president Anjuman Ara Aksir, its acting general secretary engineer Feroza Karim Naly and members of the executive committee were also present in the opening ceremony. 

National Sports Council secretary Md Aminul Islam (joint secretary) will be present as chief guest in the closing ceremony on July 6 and distribute the certificates among the players.

A total of 48 players from different districts across the country are taking part in the talent hunt program, organized by BWSA.
