DHAKA, July 5, 2025 (BSS) – The closing and prize distribution ceremony of Inter-Base Football Competition-2025 of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) was held at Football ground of Bangladesh Air Force Base Bashar, Dhaka on Thursday.

Bangladesh Air Force Base Bir Uttam A K Khandker team clinched the title by defeating Bangladesh Air Force Base Zahurul Haque by 2-0 goal in the aforesaid competition, said an ISPR press release. 

Flying Officer Abdullah of Air Force Base Bashar team was adjudged as the best player. 

Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Admin) Air Vice Marshal Rushad Din Asad witnessed the final match as the Chief Guest and distributed prizes among the winners. 

Air Officer Commanding, Senior BAF officers, airmen and other members of the host Base were present on the occasion.

Air Officer Commanding of BAF Base Bashar Air Vice Marshal Khair-ul-Afsar inaugurated the competition on June 29, 2025. 

Seven teams of Bangladesh Air Force participated in this five-day long competition.
