Women's hockey team beat Uzbekistan

DHAKA, July 5, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh women's hockey team shrugged off their previous match defeat as they bounced back to register a 3-0 goal victory over Uzbekistan in their second match of the U-18 Asia Cup Hockey held in the Chinese city of Dazhou today (Saturday).

Earlier, women's hockey team made losing start in the U-18 Asia Cup Hockey when they suffered a massive 11-0 defeat to strong Japan.
 
On the other hand, Bangladesh men's hockey team registered their second successive victory when they thrashed Sri Lanka by 13-0 goals.

Earlier, men's hockey team blanked Hong Kong China by 3-0 goals in their opening pool A match held on Thursday last.
