Police women volleyball team meets IGP

DHAKA, July 8, 2025 (BSS) - Players and officials of the Bangladesh Police Women's Volleyball Team paid a courtesy call on the Inspector General and President of the Central Executive Committee of Bangladesh Police Sports Council Baharul Alam at the Police Headquarters this morning.

The IGP congratulated the officials, players and coaches of the Bangladesh Police Volleyball Club and all concerned for becoming the champion for the first time in the women's category of the National Volleyball Competition by defeating Bangladesh Ansar in the final by 3-0 sets.
 
He urged all concerned to continue this streak of success through regular practice. 
 

Additional IGP (Finance) Md. Akram Hossain, Additional IGP (HRM) and President of Bangladesh Police Volleyball Club Abu Naser Mohammed Khaled, General Secretary and Dhaka District Police Superintendent Md. Asaduzzaman, AIG (Education, Sports and Culture) Shamima Parvin were present at that time.
