Pakistan announce squad for Bangladesh T20Is

DHAKA, July 8, 2025 (BSS)- The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) today announced a 15-member squad for the three-match T20I series against Bangladesh. 

Salman Ali Agha will continue to lead the side in the T20Is, a press release of the PCB stated.

The PCB selection panel named a squad mixed with experienced names and fresh faces. Notable inclusions include Fakhar Zaman, Faheem Ashraf, Mohammad Nawaz, and young talents like Saim Ayub and Mohammad Abbas Afridi.

However, the likes of Babar Azam, Muhammad Rizwan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah continued to be excluded. 

Pakistan is set to arrive in Bangladesh on July 17 with the first T20 on July 20. The second and third T20 is on July 22 and 24 respectively. All the matches will be held at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka.

Just a month ago, the two sides met in a three-match T20 series at Lahore in Pakistan, which the hosts swept with ease.
