Bangladesh go down 6-3 to Pakistan

DHAKA, July 8, 2025 (BSS)- Bangladesh men's hockey team suffered a 6-3 goal defeat to Pakistan in their ultimate Pool A match of the Men's U-18 Asia Cup hockey held at the Chinese city of Dazhou today (Tuesday).

In the proceeding, Ismal Hossain scored a brace while Dwin Islam netted the other goal for Bangladesh. Abdullah Awan and Ali Hanzala struck twice each while Atif Ali and Asam Haider supported them with a lone goal apiece for Pakistan. 

The Bangladesh men's hockey team, which already confirmed their super four stage, earlier blanked Hong Kong China by 3-0 goals in their opening pool A match, thrashed Sri Lanka 13-0 in the second match and defeated China 5-2 in third match.
