Bangladesh A reach Darwin for Top End T20 series

DHAKA, Aug 9, 2025 (BSS) - The Bangladesh ‘A’ team reached in Darwin today to participate in the Top End T20 Series.

The Bangladesh side makes a return to the event after a first appearance in 2024. The second string Bangladesh side finished as runners-up in the previous edition, after falling short against Adelaide Strikers Academy in the final.

Wicketkeeper-batter Nurul Hasan Sohan will lead the side which also includes Naim Sheikh, Saif Hasan, Nayeem Hasan alongside some promising youngsters.

Bangladesh A will kick off the tournament with the match against Pakistan A on August 14.

They will then play against Nepal national team on August 16, big bash franchise Perth Scorchers on August 17, Northern Territory Strike on August 19, Melbourne Stars on August 21, Adelaide Strikers on August 23.

Both of the semifinals and final will be held on August 24.

Bangladesh A thereafter will play a four-day match in Darwin from August 28-31 against South Australia.
