DHAKA, Aug 12, 2025 (BSS) — Bangladesh’s specialist batting coach Julian Wood today conducted a workshop on power hitting with senior coaches of the BCB. 

During his month-long stay in Bangladesh, Wood will conduct special sessions with the national team also.

The BCB hired him to hone players skill on power hitting, an area which is considered as imperative in doing well in T20 format.

Bangladesh traditionally lacked in this aspect, which is why they more often suffered in this format.

Several cricketers also stressed upon the requirements of improving power hitting skill, prompting BCB to hire the service of Wood.
