Tabith appointed to FIFA's committee

DHAKA, Oct 8, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) President Tabith Awal has been appointed as a member of the Football Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation Committee under FIFA, said a press release today.

Through this nomination, Bangladesh has proven that its position in the international arena is getting stronger day by day.

Tabith's inclusion as a member of the Technology, Innovation, and Digital Transformation Committee is truly a matter of pride for the country.

Alongside Tabith, the committee includes members from various countries such as Bahrain, Rwanda, Canada, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Malaysia, and Scotland.

The committee is chaired by Thorvaldur Orlygsson of Iceland, while Jorge Gim‚nez of Venezuela is serving as the deputy chairman.

Meanwhile, BFF Women's Wing Chairperson Mahfuza Akhter Kiron, also a member of both the AFC and BFF, has been made a member of the FIFA Girls' Competition Committee.
