Sohan sidelined for three weeks due to injury

DHAKA, Nov 3, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh wicket-keeper batter Nurul Hasan Sohan is 
set to be sidelined for three wickets after an ankle injury he sustained 
during the third final T20 against West Indies in Chattogram.

Left-arm pacer Shoriful Islam who suffered a hamstring injury in that match 
is advised to take 15 days rest, the BCB medical department confirmed.

Shoriful could only bowl two overs before sustaining the injury. He couldn't 
back to bowl further in that game Bangladesh lost by five wickets and 
eventually suffered a 3-0 whitewash.

Bangladesh's next T20 assignment is against Ireland, which will also play a 
two-match Test series.
