DHAKA, Nov 17, 2025 (BSS)- A special promotional seminar on Chinese 
Government Scholarship (CGS type-A) was held at Bangladesh Krira Shikkha 
Protishtan (BKSP) today.

The seminar is being considered an important initiative to further advance 
educational and cultural cooperation between China and Bangladesh.

Brigadier General Md. Munirul Islam, director general (DG) of BKSP, was 
present as the chief guest at the event.

BKSP and various Chinese institutions have been working together for a long 
time-especially in sports science, training, and education development 
programmes.

As part of further strengthening this relationship, this seminar was 
organised under the auspices of the Chinese Embassy and administered by the 
China Scholarship Council (CSC) with CGS Type-A scholarships.

The organisers hope that BKSP students will make significant contributions to 
the country and the international community by pursuing higher education in 
China through the CGS Type A scholarship.
