Army goes goal feast in women’s football league

DHAKA, Jan 10, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh Army maintained their all-win run in the Women’s Football League crushing Kacharipara Unnayan Sangstha by 18-0 goals in a match held at Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city’s Kamalapur today (Saturday).

In the match, Unnoti Khatun slammed double hat-trick with six goals in the 62nd, 66th, 72nd, 79th, 82nd and 90+2nd minutes and Mosammat Sultana scored hat-trick with four goals in the 17th, 41st, 42nd and 57 minutes while Tannima Biswas also scored hat-trick with three goals in the 14th, 39th and 45th minutes for Army.

Besides, Arpita Biswas and Brishty Akter scored a brace each in the 2nd, and 87th and 49th and 73rd minutes respectively while Halima Akter scored a lone goal for Army in the one-sided affairs.      

With the day’s win, Army maintained their domination in the league table with 12 points from four matches while Jamalpur Kacharipara Ekadash is yet to open their account playing the same number of matches.
