Pacer Tanzim to miss BCL due to back pain

DHAKA, Feb 28, 2026 (BSS)- Pace bowler Tanzim Hasan Sakib is set to miss the 
remaining part of Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL) one-day competition 
following a back pain he sustained during the tournament.
 
He underwent an MRI subsequently to determine the extent of the injury. 
However, the report was not bad, an official said.

He was given rest to give him enough time to recover fully for the upcoming 
ODI series against Pakistan.
 
Tanzim was the part of East Zone in the BCL one-day competition, which is 
used as part of preparation platform for the Pakistan series.

Pakistan will visit Bangladesh for three ODIs scheduled on March 11, 13 and 
15. All the matches will be played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket 
Stadium in Mirpur.
