DHAKA, Feb 28, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh is all set to go through a busy year in
International cricket, beginning with a three-match ODI series against
Pakistan in March.

The Pakistan national team will land in Dhaka on March 9 as the three ODIs
are scheduled on March 11, 13 and 15. All of the matches will be held at
Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.

Bangladesh will then go through a month-long gap before facing off New
Zealand at home for three ODIs and as many T20 Internationals.

The three ODIs are slated to be held on April 17, 20 and 23 while the T20
Internationals will take place on April 27 and 29 and May 2.

Just after seven days, they will switch the mode to Test cricket for a two-
match series against Pakistan. The first Test is from May 8-12 while the
second and final Test will be held from May 16-20.

Bangladesh will host Australia in June for three ODIs and three T20
Internationals. The ODIs will be held on June 5, 8 and 11 while the T20s are
on June 15, 18 and 20.

The Bangladesh will then visit Zimbabwe for two Tests and five ODIs in July
before embarking on Ireland tour in July-August for three ODIs and three T20
Internationals.

They will then return to the country for a brief time before departing for
historical tour in Australia.

This will be Bangladesh's first Test tour to Australia in 24 years. Their
only previous Test tour in Australia was in 2003, when the team, still new to
Test cricket, lost both matches in the two-match series.

The first Test is scheduled to be held in Darwin from August 13-17 while
Mackay will be unveiled as a Test venue by hosting the second and final Test
from August 22-26.

Bangladesh will host India for three ODIs and as many T20 Internationals in
September and West Indies for two Tests in October-November before wrapping
up the year with a full tour of South Africa in November-December which
included two Tests and three ODIs.
