Rahmatganj beat Mohammedan in BFL

DHAKA, May 15, 2026 (BSS)-Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society recorded  hard-fought 1-0 goal win over Mohammedan Sporting Club in the Bangladesh Football League (BFL) held at Birshrestha Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj today (Friday).

After the barren first half, Ghanaian forward Ernest Boateng scored the all-important goal for Rahmatganj in the 85th minute of the match.

The day’s win saw the traditional old Dhaka outfit Rahmatganj move to fifth position in the league table with 22 points from 17 matches while the black and white Motijheel outfit Mohammedan, sitting sixth position in the league table, remained with their previous collection of 20 points playing the same number of matches.
