CHT affairs adviser for focusing more on serving tourists

BANDARBAN, April 7, 2025 (BSS) - Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) Affairs Adviser Supradip Chakma today urged the entrepreneurs of CHT to focus more on serving tourists.


The adviser was addressing a view-exchange meeting organised by the entrepreneurs of the district at the Bandarban Hill District Council Auditorium here.


He said a large number of tourists have visited the CHT areas during Eid and the local administration had to vacate the stadium to serve them.

 

The CHT affairs adviser urged the young generation to become entrepreneurs to establish themselves as self-reliant.

 

Bandarban Hill District Council Chairman Professor Thanjama Lusai, CHT Ministry Joint Secretary Konkan Chakma, Deputy Commissioner Shamim Ara Rini, Superintendent of Police Shahidullah Kawsar and District Council Chief Executive Officer Nazrul, among others, were present on the occasion.
