Adviser Bashir Uddin for promoting domestic tourism

DHAKA, April 17, 2025 (BSS) - Newly appointed Civil Aviation and Tourism Adviser Sheikh Bashir Uddin today laid emphasis on working together with honesty and sincerity to build a beautiful and prosperous country for the future generations.
 
 “We’ve to work with honesty, sincerity and integrity to build a beautiful and prosperous country for our future generations,” he said while exchanging views with the officials of the Civil Aviation and Tourism Ministry at the ministry’s conference room at Bangladesh Secretariat here.

Putting emphasis on flourishing the domestic tourism, he said the country will have to be made as an attractive destination for the tourists and for these reasons, country’s popular tourist spots and standard of services would have to be developed further,” he said, adding that country’s airports would have to be decorated as finest gateways in this regard.

Chaired by the Secretary of the Civil Aviation and Tourism Ministry Nasrin Jahan, the meeting was attended, among others, by the senior officials of the ministry and departments.

Sheikh Bashir Uddin got the charge of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism on April 15 in addition to the ministries for Commerce and Textile and Jute.
