World Tourism Day observed through organizing various programmes

CHUADANGA, Sept 27, 2025 (BSS) – The World Tourism Day was observed in Chuadanga district as different government and non-government organizations arranged elaborate programmes.   

To mark the day, a rally was brought out from the District Commissioner’s office and it paraded through different streets of the district town.  

Afterwards, a discussion was held in the conference room of the District Commissioner’s office. The meeting was chaired by Additional District Commissioner, Ahmed Mahbub Ul Islam. 

Highlighting different tourist spots of the district, speakers at the discussion said there are very attractive tourist spots in Chuadanga district and urged the relevant organizations to take necessary measures to make these sites more attractive for tourists.      

These scenic spots include DC Eco-Park, Alamdanga Bodhyobhumi, haors, baors and Aat Chala Ghar, memory associated with the national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam that can be best tourist destinations.  

Assistant Commissioner Ashfaqur Rahman, Sadar Upazila Nirbahi official M Saifullah, teachers, students, representatives and officials of district administration and tourism sector, were present among others, on the occasion.
