Investigation committee submits six reports to BSEC

DHAKA, Feb 11, 2025 (BSS) - The enquiry and investigation committee formed by the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) today submitted its reports on six companies.
 
The BSEC has disclosed the names of these companies involved, but it has not revealed any information about the individuals implicated in the reports.
 
The companies named in the investigation reports are: Beximco Green Sukuk Al Istisna'a, IFIC Guaranteed Sreepur Township Green Zero-Coupon Bond, Best Holdings Limited, Al-Amin Chemical Industries, Fortune Shoe and Quest BDC Limited (formerly Padma Printers).
 
The BSEC stated that the committee was established to probe past irregularities, market manipulation, and corruption, according to a press release issued by the BSEC here.
 
The commission added that enforcement actions are currently underway based on the findings of the reports.
