ACC files case against Biplob, his wife

DHAKA, April 20, 2025 (BSS) - The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has filed two cases against Bhola Awami League (AL) General Secretary Moinul Hossain Biplob and his wife Farzana Binte on charges of amassing illegal wealth.

Assistant Director of the ACC Md Kamruzzaman submitted the cases to the district special tribunal today. The cases were filed on April 17 for acquiring illegal wealth worth around Tk 12 crore.

According to case details, they allegedly accumulated illegal wealth amounting to Tk 11,75,73,015, which is beyond their known sources of income.
