Hein Schumacher to step down as Unilever CEO

LONDON, Feb 25, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - British consumer goods giant Unilever on Tuesday said chief executive Hein Schumacher will step down on March 1 and be replaced by finance chief Fernando Fernandez.

The decision was made by "mutual agreement", the company said in a statement. Schumacher steered Unilever for less than two years.
