IDB to provide Argentina with up to $10 bn in financing

WASHINGTON, April 12, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) announced Friday it would support Argentina with "up to $10 billion" in public and private financing over the next three years.

The move, which is still subject to approval by the IDB's board of executive directors, comes alongside a new $20 billion loan agreement from the International Monetary Fund, and an additional $12 billion commitment from the World Bank.
